The Challenge

A retail chain with over 600 outlets across India had built a strong WhatsApp marketing operation — dedicated teams, active customer conversations, high engagement. But when customers asked to book through the same chat, the chain had no answer. Their technology vendor had been trying to solve it for over a year. The Challenge

A manufacturer's sales team was spread across several cities, coordinating entirely through phone calls and daily office meetings. Orders were delayed because the back-office team spent hours each day decoding informal voice notes — figuring out what was a lead, what was an inquiry, and what needed a purchase order. The Solution

The Challenge

Every incoming shipment at this warehouse arrived with a printed invoice. Staff would take each hardcopy and enter it manually into the ERP — navigating multiple modules, one field at a time, for every document. Three to four people were permanently assigned to this task at each gate. The process was slow, error-prone, and bottlenecked the entire inbound operation. Scaling throughput meant hiring more data entry staff — which wasn't viable. Compliance requirements added another constraint: invoice data could not be processed through any external cloud service.

The Solution

We deployed a mobile capture application at every gate. Staff photograph the printed invoice; an on-premises AI model extracts all key fields in 30 to 45 seconds; the operator reviews the extraction and approves it; the record propagates simultaneously to every relevant ERP module in a single action. The entire system — the AI model, the application server, all document storage — runs inside the company's LAN on their own data centre hardware. No internet connection is required or used. Access is controlled with two-factor authentication. Every document and every record stays within their walls, clearing all compliance requirements without any external dependency.
